H.E Mr. Anne Van Leeuwen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Bangladesh, along with some other senior officials of the Netherlands embassy and Better Work Bangladesh visited the factory of Aboni Fashions Limited (a sister concern of Babylon Group) on 23 March 2022. Aboni Fashions Ltd. is actively partnering and implementing many projects with Better Work Bangladesh, among them the main projects are- GEAR (Gender Equality And Returns), Mothers@Work. In addition, various factory development and specialized training activities are being conducted by the advisors of Better Work Bangladesh at Aboni Fashions Ltd. Some of them are- Occupational health and safety, Covid-19, Supervisor Skill Training (SST), Mid-Level Management, Prevention of Sexual Harassment and Abuse, Grievance Mechanism and Social Dialogue Mechanism, etc. Through the implementation of these projects, women in the factory play a leading role in protecting maternal rights, including enhancement of mental and technical skills for career advancement. After visiting Aboni Fashions Ltd. premise and its Day Care Centre, the guests showed their gratitude towards the Management of Aboni Fashions Ltd.
