Dr. Bärbel Kofler, Parliamentary State Secretary in the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, along with some other senior officials of the Germany Embassy and GIZ visited the factory of Aboni Knitwear Limited (a sister concern of Babylon Group) on 29 October 2022.

Aboni Knitwear Ltd. is actively collaborating and implementing many projects with GIZ for sustainability and development, among them the main projects are‐ ISO‐45001, Occupational Health & Safety Management System Program (OHSMS), Return To Work Program (RTW), Made in Green by OEKO‐TEX.

Besides, various developmental and specialized training activities are being conducted by GIZ at Aboni Knitwear Ltd., some of them are‐ Awareness of Covid‐19, Prevention of Sexual Harassment and Abuse, Grievance Management System, Social Dialogue at Workplace, etc.

After visiting Aboni Knitwear Ltd. premise, production floors and its training center, the guests were introduced with the workers’ representatives of Aboni Knitwear Ltd. The visitors showed their gratitude towards the Management of Aboni Knitwear Ltd.
